Michael had the opportunity to study jazz piano with Gary Walters during his time at Butler University. Gary has performed, recorded, and composed for numerous artists, including Sandi Patti, Carrie Newcomer, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the 1991 World Gymnastics Games. Amazingly, Michael always received an 'A' from this outstanding jazz pianist!
