Michael studied with Mary Craig Powell at Capital University in Columbus, OH from age 5 to age 18. Mrs. Powell has not only taught Suzuki Piano Studies all over the world, she has received the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Suzuki Associations of the Americas. Mrs. Powell helped Michael reach his full musical potential growing up, and inspired him to pursue music beyond his high school studies.
