Michael Douce has been playing the piano since before the age of three, studying both classical piano and jazz piano intensively at times during the past 25 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Butler University, double-majoring in jazz piano performance and recording studies. His Master of Science degree came from Indiana University, furthering his studies in music technology at IUPUI. In addition to being a freelance musician, Michael teaches courses in music technology at Butler University and leads worship at Old Bethel United Methodist Church.

Michael Douce will play or learn any song requested for wedding ceremony. He has fulfilled requests of playing Army, Navy and Marine’s hymns, as well as unique ceremonies consisting of all music from the Beatles.  He also works with incredibly talented vocalists and instrumentalists should you wish to include more than piano for your ceremony services.

In addition to providing your ceremony music, Michael is an accomplished jazz pianist who can provide hours of solo piano music during your rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour or reception dinner period. Hourly fees vary depending on location, equipment available, and additional combinations with ceremony packages.
